Welcome to View From The DJ Booth, a pun far too good to ignore! Each month the legendary Manchester DJ Dave Booth will share the contents of his record box and give us his Top 10 "go to" floor fillers for a specific genre. These 10 slabs of vinyl are his personal choice based on countless years of playing out live DJ'ing around Manchester since the 80's, when he spun the wheels of steel at various clubs such as Pips and the Hacienda. These are the tunes that have made people rush from the bar and toilet queues and pack the throbbing dance floors, each too good to miss. They are in no particular order and of course you may have your own favourites and disagree with some or all of Dave's choices. That's what makes music so interesting, so personal and emotive. We hope you enjoy these tunes, whether as a returning old friend or a brand spanking new acquaintance, cherished for eternity or simply a sweaty one-night stand. Embrace and be damned.
